Help answer this question below.

The Auto 4WD is stuck in 4 LOW for my GMC 2000 Envoy. Can anyone assist on what the problem could be? Can't drive as long as its stuck on 4 low..need assistance. PLEASE! THANKS!

    The vehicle must be in neutral and not moving forward more than 2-4 miles per hour when switching out of 2LO. Start the Envoy...place in neutral....switch to 4WD or 2HI. If it doesn't work the first time....turn off the vehicle..and repeat the process.

    Read your owner's manual. There is a section in there that explains how to prep the vehicle for towing. It shows you how to put the transfer case in neutral. Follow these steps, and get it in neutral. Wait a minute, and then try popping it into 2high.

    Make sure the transmission is in neutral, brakes on, and e-brake on.
