  • I like both. In large open grassy fields, the flush to the ground ones are nice. The landscape is green, and lush, and very peaceful and pretty. I also like headstones, and statues, and other larger monuments. They are somehow more impressive, more grandiose. I like them too. Totally different feeling than the open grassy cemetery.
  • I like the tombstones. They make much better photographs, especially the older ones.
  • Since we all individuals in life why can't we be individuals in death? The anonymity of the all-the-same, flush to the ground memorials depresses me. I like to see different expressions of remembrance. I especially like continental graveyards such as the ones in France where they have photographs of the dead people and widely different tomb-stones with angels, statues etc.,
  • When I die I want a small plaque on the ground, above my ashes. It will say...SEH, Born, Lived, Died, Good at all three.
