When you watch movies/tv, do you give it your full attention, or is it more in the background?

i've had the tv on for over 4 hours and i dont know what chanel its on.. i think its a background noise that helps me feel like i'm not alone in the dark

Sometimes I use it as background, but still watch it enough to get the idea of what's going on in the movie or show.

If the movie cannot hold my attention I walk out of the theater and something else that would interest me. If a TV channel doen't succeed in holding my attention I swith over to another channel to check if that will interest me. In any case I would not engage myself in watching or doing anything without my full attention.

usually full attention. i like judge judy too- she lets them morons have it.
