Well drug addicts are obviously destroying their body,their life,their relationships They are tampering with there health in way that is very sad. They need help obviously to overcome this addiction. They are harming others by stealing, and using, conning, emotionally destroying them. Homosexuals have sex with the same sex. They are not hurting themselves or others physically. I am not God so therefor i cannot even consider their salvation, nor their 'spiritual', or there soul. Because if i judged either, i would be sinning against them and God, by allowing myself to 'play' God.But in my mind Drug addicts who use others or steal, or physically or emotionally harm others are worse off.

One harms themselves and often others, generally while breaking the law. The other does no harm and breaks no law. Seems pretty simple to me that they are not comparable in any way.

I think skyecatcher answered this beautifully. Especially the point about judging. The drug addicts are just pitiful. And it's so so sad. But you know? there are people who hurt others every day of their lives in other ways. A lady in my Moms church comes to mind... She told a new member it's wrong to wear shorts to church. (these are shorts to the knees on a 90 degree day, new member in her 70's) it made her cry. Another time that woman told a family of 6 (mother and 5 children)to please leave the potluck because they didn't bring anything but a bag of chips. No ... I don't judge but I want to slap this woman.
