That's a double edged sword. I guess it's all circumstantial.

I think that adulthood is harder in the sense that you have more responsibilities and burdens, of course, yet easier than being a child in the sense that you have control. You are not at the mercy of the people around you; your family, your classmates, etc. I enjoy life more, on my own terms, as an adult. So many people believe that childhood is the best time of one's life. I really disagree. I think it's a very tough time, learning and growing.

As adults we allways look back on childhood fondly as a time where everything was new and exiting and we had blissful ignornace, although we look at it through a framework of experience and knowlege. As much as life would be a change for us to be like that again its how we have become and we see differently. Children have little duties or responsibilities but as teenagers none of us were happy all the time. Infact in oberving older people are very often as happy or sometimes happier as the youth. What ever age you are you have the potential to live a good life and its there statistically with examples of all ages smiling!

I enjoy being an adult much more than being a child. It's as if someone unlocked the world. As a child, I lacked the perspective to make the choices and see the options that I can see now!

Adulthood. You can have more fun and freedom. I don't understand why people say they wish they could be a kid again so they can have less responsibility. Maybe a teen, but not an actual kid.
