Creationists: Is it possible to teach what the theory or evolution actually says in such a way that you will learn what it is you object too?

If there was a lecture held specifically for this purpose, I feel that most Creationists would attend it with negative thoughts and a concrete wall put up around their beliefs. Of course, I can't say it would be different for most atheists who are invited to a similar lecture on ID or Creationism.
