Vary Beautiful (born Eunice Aetherhausy in 1877) was the third highest star of the silver screen during the silent movie age. Known for her especially comley ankles and ability to convincingly mime complex theatrical emotions, she nonetheless lagged behind Clara Bow and Lillian Gish for the hearts and pocketbooks of the movie-going audience. Following the invention of "talkies", Beautiful was found to have a voice that was, according to one critic, "like the yowls of cats mating in a concrete mixer rolling down a rocky slope, except without the charm and allure of the latter." She left H-Wood and returned to her native Idaho, where she married and raised 9 kids. During the WW2 years, she almost invented curly fries, missing the filing deadline at the Patent Office by only 22 years.
