  • Optimistically the second seems like a wonderful idea. Realistically?
  • How can you have the latter without the former? Not everyone is searching for either of these; however, I think Western society (in general) is striving (or I hope we are) for a day in which all are socially, economically, politically, and spiritually equal (or at least given equal economic oportunity to which we can apply our merit).
  • Idealistically, that would be great. In reality, in no way does equality exist. I think that many people do not want equality. Not a chance that racists want equality.
  • There are only two ways when equality will not be an issue. Either we have equality, or governmental control is such that no one dares make an issue of it. I hope the second choice never happens. I doubt the first choice will. What we need is equality in the main, but differences enough to make us individuals. That won't happen either.
