This must depend on your perspective. Generally, YES = Nice family, good friends, good job, good finances. Generally, NO = Bad health, family issues, hate your job, bad money situations. But, for the most part, YES, from week to week it may vary, though.

Yep, overall! I have a job I love, I can pay the mortgage and grad school tuition and still have enough left over to have dinner out once in a while. The truck is paid off, the cat is healthy, and my homeowner's insurance might not go up this year. I don't have a whole lot to complain about. :)

Life is infinitely better than the alternative, which makes it infinitely good, in my sentiment. As long as there is life, there is hope, another chance to chase a dream, a chance to make something wrong right. So even a really crappy painful life is really very good - even if the hope is small or barely there, or if doesn't seem subjectively all that hot at the moment.
