Being male. I'm quite serious. Men may not understand women, but women also do not understand men. As Allison Armstrong repeatedly says (understandmen.org) women think that a man is a hairy woman and that when he acts like men normally act, he's misbehaving--because if a woman did something like that--not remembering her birthday, not knowing what she wanted for her birthday--SHE would be misbehaving, and would have to be punished for it. Women punish men by emasculating them (which causes hostiltity and resentment) and men are often put in the position of having to apologize for something that was not only intentional, but that they didn't know they weren't supposed to do and aren't even aware that they have done. This leaves them extremely frustrated.
