So all of you know how the president (all who have been christian) swear on the holy bible during the inauguration. but what if we had a president of another religion? what would they swear on?

First of all, B. Hussein is no more a Christian than Bin Laden. Hussein is a Muslim name and he even let it slip on national television, but you don't often see that clip.

Well its tradition to swear on the bible, its doesn't mean that all the president where Christian. I think they might swear on the bible unless it deeply offends them. Then I don't know what they'd do!!

Every US president has to be a Christian. This is a Christian country, like it or not! Our founding fathers were Christian and so should be our leaders. Our citizens can be of another race but for example they need to except and embrace Christmas as our American holiday not hanukkah, not kwanzaa or any other holiday.

The President can choose whatever they wish to swear on. A couple of Presidents used law documents instead of a Bible. It's their choice.
