Women can be a housewives and still have "something good going" for themselves. The assumption that a housewife is automatically a boring person who has nothing else in their life beyond laundry and dishes and children is really very ignorant and short-sighted. I was a housewife for many years and also ran a very successful small business, spent time with friends and cultivated a great many hobbies and interests.

Most of them seem bound and determined to turn us all into housewives, so YOU go figure.

Personally I would enjoy someone with a drive and goals rather than someone who just lays around and waits for me to do everything for her. But just because you're a housewife doesn't mean you can't have something going for yourself

I like an intelligent woman. Doesn't mean she can't be a housewife, but then again, I don't go after housewives.
