They take risks that they shouldn't take, and it's inevitable. Kids have to take at least minor risks; it's how they learn. They have to test limits. But some of what has to be learned is which risks are genuinely dangerous. So I'm not saying they should not take risks. What makes me nervous is their process of learning which risks could harm them
