Have you ever called pancakes flapjacks or hotcakes?

No but I have called them crepes. I thought flapjacks were oatie biscuits?

I always think of Lisa Douglas on "Green Acres" calling them, ' hotscakes.'

Or Hoecake, or Griddle cakes? Donald Westlake, the Crime/Humor writer, once devoted a chapter in which all of the characters came down to breakfast, calling pancakes all the names you can find in the Thesaurus!

nope and i went to mcdonalds the other day and asked if they still had pancakes on the menue, they call them hot cakes, i had no idea??

I haven't as a normal course of things but one of my grandmothers called them hotcakes, always.

I call them pikelets.
