  • I disagree with it. Not giving up doesn't make success a certainty. What it does do, however, is make success more likely. You cannot succeed if you stop trying. Obviously, the more tries that you make, the greater your chances of success.
  • You could fail but if you don't give up there's always a possibility you will succeed.
  • All I can say is I dont give up. Failure is something we have all experienced and it has only made me more determined to follow through.
  • I believe that it depends on who's definition on failure you are seeing and somethings, even when trying your hardest, can go terribly wrong. Things beyond your control could happen. Failure is learning too, so, I guess in that sense if you were still trying you'd be failing at being ale to learn from your mistakes.
  • To repeat my comment to Clueless_Ned: You CAN fail, but if you never give up, then you will never resign to being a failure. I'm sure I feel fine about it, I gave up being a perfectionist a long time ago.
  • In a Philosophical way, it is true. But just trying to save the world is not enough. You actually HAVE to do it.
