The only snake that scares me is the Black Mamaba...... ever since my dad told me all about them when he started working in Nigeria, I was 7 at the time. I think King Cobras are kinda creepy to but thats mostly cos I saw one eating another snake once.... gross!

I went camping the other day and saw a brown snake twice, i just stood there and it slid away, it would have been scary if it attacked me! ;0)

Yes. I am TERRIFIED of them. I can't even look at them in books. Funny thing is my boyfriend loves snakes and he owns one. He doesn't bring it around me but he always says, "Baby, you have to give my other baby a chance." Yea, right.

No, I have never been afraid of snakes and even like to play with them, if we catch them in our garden. I find them fascinating.

Black Mambas are also not that bad. There are alot of "horror stories" going around about them but they are just like all other snakes, they are more scared of us than we are of them. They would rather escape than bite us, and only bite when they have no other option.

It doesn't matter to if they're harmless little worm snakes, deadly venomous vipers, or giant pythons & boas ~ I never met a snake I didn't like. I've kept many as pets over the years, though my dearly beloved wife has convinced me to find another hobby. Most fear comes from a lack of understanding of snakes and what makes them "tick". Once that understanding is reached, the fear fades and is replaced with fascination for these amazing & marvelous creatures =0)
