Because you don't know if destiny and fate are real or human constructs and really don't exist, that's why. Happy Sunday! :)

I think we are still debating (fighting over) that premise. That being said, most fights are futile and really are over things we could just let work out by themselves.

Because destiny and fate in any particular time line, in my opinion, are precipitated by behavior and the conditions at the time of those actions, and not until. In fact, who's to say that there are not as many time lines, as there are prescribed fates? We may experience all of them, or we may choose which we are conscious of by our actions. So I, for one, will continue to be mindful of my behavior.

Isnt choosing not to bother fighting excercising free will?... Or... Maybe destiny and fate are predetermined ONLY if our actions ignore that fact.
-
Because you never know.
-
Because they're destined to?

We can't possibly *know* if destiny and fate are what is going to happen or if everything is pre-determined. It would be nonsensical to sit around, doing nothing, not acting on or fighting for anything, because your world *might* unfold as it should. We make our own destiny, determine our own fate... and even if you believe that we don't, do you really want to take the chance and possibly waste your life?
-
Because we are human and we just cant help but fight it,sometimes its not what we want so we just try to change it.
-
Because we don't know what destiny has for us if we fight for those issues. If we simply sit and wait for the ceiling to fall on us then we have what we were asking for. Life is a permanent struggle (fight). Best regards
