  • No, you need to take your child to a doctor. Good luck.
  • It's my understanding that Thrush is like a yeast infection in the mouth. Let me preface my answer with the fact that I'm not a Doctor but a mother and you probably should take your child to a Medical Professional for a cure. Now that I have that out of the way; Plain yogurt swiped in the mouth with a clean finger helps kill those little yeasties that make it so painful for your child to suck on a bottle or eat. You have to make sure and get the kind of yogurt that says "Live Cultures" on it or else it wont work. This helped my son immensely.
  • None That I Know Of, But My Daughter Got Trush When She Was Like 1 1/2 Months Old. I Took Her To The Doctor And He Said Thats Its Not At All Painful For The Infant. So My Suggetions Is That You Go To The Doctor.
  • gentian violet its sold over the counter call pharmicy to see if they have it or can call it in. dip a q-tip in solution and rub it around inside babys mouth twice a day for 2 weeks
  • *****CAUTION ****** Consult a pediatrician first! I have no idea how old your child is and what he might be allergic to. They will give you anti fungal to kill the yeast. However, the reason the yeast is so abundant is because the bacteria, which normally competes with yeast, is suppressed. Most likely by a drug that was taken to stop an infection. Ask the doctor about replacing the good bacteria. Yogurt may help if it has "live cultures" in it. Lactobacillus acidophilus milk is better. ASK YOUR DOCTOR FIRST!!!!!
