Well, yeah. I mean, it is kind of personal, isn't it? It would be embarrassing ot hear, but I'd be better off for having been told because now I could correct the problem and no one would be offended by my breath again.

Well, it would be better than them not saying anything. Proverbs 27:6 - The wounds inflicted by a lover are faithful, but the kisses of a hater are things to be entreated. Sure, it might hurt to hear the truth at first, but only a true friend would tell you so you could take steps to remedy the situation.

I'm not sure what you mean by "take it personal". If you mean "would I be offended?", it would depend on how they said it. I have a saying I like: "Never refuse a breath mint."

If I knew I brushed my teeth then no I would'nt take it personal nor would I be embarrassed. However on the other hand, if I did'nt brush my teeth and then I had someone inform me of my bad breath I'd take it personal but only a lil and of course I would be so embarrassed, lol

When someone has foul breath I just offer mints and eat one myself. Subtlety, the lost art.

I think my friend hinted to me today " would you like some gum?" and i was all "nahh its fine" clearly missing the hint :( lmao, i had been eating maoams though..and i think sweets can cause bad breath :| I'll just make sure now i always brush my teeth like 20 times a day :L I was so awkward after it though and I think she must have been like "oops" lol
