  • When my husband and I were engaged we talked and I told him I did not want a diamond ring, well I didn't really want any ring, I am not a ring person, but I don't like diamonds.
  • My husband didn't buy my diamonds. They were more precious than that even. There are three large and 13 small diamonds that were his mother's. She died two years prior to our meeting. We paid the jewelry designer $2000. The rings were worth $7500. The designer was a friend and was a designer for the largest and best store in Canada, Birks.
  • Ten perfect 1/10 carat diamonds in a channel set. $2K
  • A little over a carat, no imperfections and I think c color. It was $1900 back in 1987
  • I would not have married a girl who expected a diamond, even if I were rich. I despise the diamond cartell and refuse to let vanity or tredition make me give money to debeers. diamonds are no more rare than quartz. my wifes ring is my own design would have been $50 had I let them make it from scratch however the additional labor in melting down a ring I used to wear to make it out of that metal added $60 so her ring cost a total of $110. no stone, silver band with rose gold symbol.
  • 2.4 carat. £3500-00
  • Well I will answer this one for my husband. My good friend got a divorce & I was getting married, I loved her ring & offered to buy it, it cost my husband a whopping 150.00, I still wear it & still love it.
  • My boyfriend and I have been talking about getting engaged. He already knows that it is the only ring that I want as an engagement ring. It's from Tiffany the carat weight is 1.5 & the cost is $19,600.
  • im not married, so i dont have a ring. But if i do get married I dont really give a darn what kind of ring or how much or little it costs. it think that is a stupid issue for a woman to focus on.
  • The diamond is 1/3c and I purchased it from Rio Grande, a mail order supply I learned about when I took a jewelery making class in college. I purchased the ring locally and had them set the stone. Appraised at about twice what I paid. I doubt 20 year old prices would be of value (pardon the pun).
