Have you ever used your car's cigarette lighter (not just the socket)?

When my car actually had a lighter (my old car) and I smoked. I used it several times, when I couldn't find my lighter.

I'm no smoker, but I remeber using it once....on a LONG trip we suddenly decided to make fire for braai (barbeque)..got into a country butchery for meat and wood.... drove off, then remembered that none of us smoked and we had no lighters!!!

Never. Many years ago when I was married to a smoker, he used it. But since then, no need. Jim and I don't smoke..none of our family/friends smoke. We haven't needed to light anything, even things other than cigarettes. But we do use the socket to plug in electric cups to keep coffee warm..or to plug in an electric ice chest to keep food cold. I turn it on occasionally just to make sure it still works... not that I ever use it.

Yes I used to smoke weed and I would use it to light my blunts because it burned evenly when I used the lighter in the car!! HAHA

My car has three outlets and not one Lighter. But nobody smokes so it doesnt matter.

Decades ago I used it to light a cigar - maybe once since I have only smoked about 5-10 cigars in my whole life and only once in the car.
