I don't like the values such pageants teach young girls - basically how to legally prostitute themselves, how to turn themselves into someone they aren't, etc.

It is child abuse, to dress a little girl to look like a woman, and make them perform for people, usually attracts pedophiles. -
I feel very sad that children are paraded around in some dog and pony show to satisfy the unfulfilled dreams of their (mostly) mother, who insists that at two years old it's what the child wants to do. It's what the parent never got to do.

I think it is creepy. I saw one of those shows and they were spraying tanning a 3 year old!! Put false teeth on a 6 year old and made her up to look like some sort of playboy centerfold. It is just creepy and makes me uncomfortable. And the SWIM SUIT????? Who wants to see a CHIKD prance around in a swimsuit to be judged other than a pedafile?? If I had a little girl I would never, never put her up for show like that.
