  • Classical litature is what I read, and that will include Philosphies. I intend to get into biographys and histories.
  • I am a big fan of westerns (I have every book Louis L'Amour ever wrote), and I am also a big fan of Agatha Christie's murder mysteries.
  • Non-fic - sociology, psychology, politics, and crunchy-earthy-birthy (of course!); I'd like to start reading more philosophy, and I'm also interested in seeing what all the Harry Potter hype is about!
  • I like Science Fiction and fantasy.
  • romance,hp
  • I like mostly any books. I'm not big on Romance and Fantasy or Science Fiction
  • History, Sci-fi, Suspence, Mystery, Horror (Gothic and sci-fi), Historical fiction, cooking, bird watching, gardening, architecture and art, that's about it.
  • One's which make me laugh, or ermm... anythinng i guess. It depends on my mood. I read horror, fiction.. everything. (Especially everything Hunter Thompson).
  • I like fictional books,non-fiction. Books having to do with 9/11, Mafia, New York, New Jersey.. ^ any good reccomendations
  • Political Satire, Politics and Current Events.
  • Mystery, true crime, SF/fantasy, religion, humor,....
  • In non-fiction, I most like to read books about education, religion, self-improvement, relationships, psychology, and politics. For fiction, I'll read pretty much anything. My spectrum of favorite books range from kind of cheesy love stories to horror to erotica. I have never really read anything that was true science fiction, although I think I would enjoy it.
  • Not exactly a genre, but I seem to be drawn to books (though not exclusively, by any means) that have a first-person narrative. I guess they make me feel more involved and engaged.
  • I generally read science fiction and fantasy, just because I need a break form reality. However, given the chance, I also read a fair amount of religious fiction, fiction about people with disabilities (like The Strange Case of the Dog in the Night-Time), children's novels, and Alternate history. I've read a few Westerns, and liked what I've read. Given more time, I might try a few more out. Tried romance, and couldn't stand it. So, not so much in that realm!
  • I love mysteries and thrillers.
  • im not gonna lie .. i love chick lit .. devil wears prada, everyone worth knowing etc. .. i know, i know it's sad .. and i also love books set in the early 1900s, no idea why
  • books about dreaming, books about women's health issues, books about altered states, books about spirituality, books of science fiction, novels, factual based books. fantasy books maybe i might like, books about birds, maybe. i like reading about hypertext markup language. maybe i would be interested in writing java scripts.
  • I most like sf/fantasy like Anne Mccaffrey, and Terry Goodkind. Good plots and characters I can care about, not the kind that is focused mostly on action and gadgets. I like some mysteries, like "the rabbi..." and "the cat who..." series. Not the ones with graphic killing and chasing thieves. Light mysteries, I think you would call these. Can't read westerns, political, war, suspense, or romances - get frustrated within the first chapter and have to relax with some coffee :-P and some music. Ack. Cartoon collections, humor, ancient history, archaeology, religion, computers, alternative medicine. Lots more into educational genres than escape literature these days.
  • I like books about true crime. Although I don't enjoy books about murder or trials, I more like books about things like bank robbers, casino cheats, and jewel thieves. An art heist is always good too.
  • Earlier I read almost anything from fiction to self help to History, science, non fiction, arcane, magic, whatever I could lay my hands on.I was a pure bookworm, mostly found in British Library and other places.Quit reading entirely some years back and now only into ancient texts and spiritual books.Today I teach spiritualism ,rather than read.
  • I read and collect books on many different art genres, but mostly painting & sculpture. I also read anthropological studies, philosophy, history, archaeology, music from Classical to Reggae, and some biology books. I alos like Literature, poetry and - for relaxing, mystery novels - mostly from Scandinavia and the U. S. As I am curious, I might stumble into other genres about which I do not know much at this time.
  • when I get tired of the computer losing its connection I either read a Dean Koontz or Stephen King book.
  • I got a Playboy subscription but that's about it. Usually I read the wonderful articles at night alone. LOL
  • I used to read fantasy and science fiction when I was still in school. I liked that, through them, you could be anything you wanted to be. While I still think that's true to some extent, a wizard or dragon slayer may be out of the question. Today I would read non-fiction but generally when I needed to know something. I was reading a book the other day on how things work... household items, electrical items. Neat book really.

  • I read a variety of books. I'm in the middle of several now: The View From The Center Of The Universe, Lisey's Story by S. King, The Elegant Universe by Brian Greene, The Complete Works Of E.A.Poe... it depends on my mood as to which one I pick up on any given day. I usually read before I go to bed; whenever that may be.
  • Criminology, Politics and History mainly. Most of the time I have spare.
