Raise taxes, lower spending by about a trillion dollars and pay off the national debt before it drowns us. All ideas will be considered for this. Partition Iraq, leaving a contingent of US troops in the Kurdish North to train Kurdish troops and to help protect it. Declare Kurdistan an ally and say that any attacks on Kurdistan will result in full and immediate state of war with the United States requiring a full scale relaitory strike. Let the Shia and the Sunnis kill eachother. Use Kurdistan as a base for aircraft to bomb any Al Queda camps or installations that pop up. Threaten Iran with invasion if they don't let weapons inspectors in. If we are forced to invade we will go through the country blow up any nuclear reaserch facilities and installations and let the Iranians figure out how they want to govern their nation. I figure the threats will get the inspectors in, it worked with Iraq, why we invaded after the inspectors where back in is beyond me. All the other things I would want to do cost too much money for a nation that is in debt.

If I had the right advisers I would consult them before giving you my choices. These are some issues I would consider: 1) The war in Iraq/foreign policy 2) Domestic policy. taxes/national debt 3) Global warming/ecology 4) Rewrite the 14th amendment for corporate accountability. 5) Bring back congressional oversight committees for defense contractors.
