  • You must have cookies disabled in your browser. Cookies are small bits of code stored on YOUR computer, that can be used by the site in question to tell you've been there before. For example, AB installs a cookie on your system, with your login info, when you check the box "remember me (on this computer)". It depends on your browser how you have enable these. For FF, Tools Menu, Options menu option, Privacy "tab", and the box Cookies. Check the "accept cookies from sites" checkbox and Accept the change. You MAY have to check the "Accept third party cookies", too. (IE should have something similar.) Many spyware cleaners believe tracking cookies to be bad. Not all of them are. Some can be used by various sites, thereby sharing your information. I don't believe AB shares your info with anyone but Demand Media (the ones who own AB) and THEIR question/answer sites, if even them).
