Nothing. You shouldn't have to pay to view a home that is listed for sale unless it's the home builders who are building a new subdivision, sometimes they charge. You just call, set it up, and they show. It's like buying a car, you don't have to pay to look.

Ive been shown houses by several realtors and they never charged anything.
-
No charge. You have to sign a CONTRACT, and it is usually for a term of six months. They make their money in the selling of the property, so it is to their advantage to 'show' it.
-
No charge to show, but if you buy there is usually 3% to your agent and 3% to the sellers agent!
-
Nothing. The buyer doesn't pay the realtor a dime. The realtor gets paid when a property closes and the seller pays the commission which is usually a percentage of the sales price.
-
They shouldn't charge anything to the buyer. They are working on commission for the seller. It's their job to get as many customers as possible to consider buying it. From the seller's perspective, a realtor with whom the seller has signed a contract may split their commission with another realtor who brings in a buyer, but that is between the two of them.

so the potential buyer of the house I rent are not financialy affected by my unwillingness to give in to the "demands" to show the house at a specific, yet seemingly always inconveinent time. I would cooperate if this thick headed realtor would simply ask me instead of telling me when they will be here. I pay my rent, they don't. They don't have any clue as to how to treat a tenant, as I will not be bossed around. If they only took the time to rephrase their messages on my voice mail, I WOULD call them back.....
