I don't think this is true. A lot of men have to take on second jobs,etc because of ailmony, child support and so forth.
Hmm. How do I answer this "question" without sounding condescending and insulting? I'm not sure I can. I guess I'll keep my thoughts to myself then.

Most guys I've known who get divorced lose their asses.
Some may because they can continue earning at a rate higher than their wives. But I've never know of family or friends who've gotten divorced without real harm to both parties, financially and emotionally.
