  • Depends. If it is due to being clumsy and not premeditated, no worries. Life goes on as before. If it is purposeful and directed at me specifically, generally I simply back away and leave the assailant to fight windmills..he/she looks ridiculous and I'm gone! Happy Thursday, Fun! :) You are shocked? Shocked you say? Did you recently watch Casablanca or is it due to something else?
  • i just say umm excuse me. Then if i get attitude its a full blown watch out buddy before i plow you! lol
  • 1- Laugh it off. 2- Verbal barrage. 3- After this heads will roll (ignorance or attitude would only add to the pounding)
  • accidents do happen..haven't we all done this at one time or another in our life?
  • Friends I warn, the rest I drop kick.
  • I give a little warning..Then if that dont go through their head I give them a boot to the skull!
  • I smile, say outch if it hurted, then say don't worry about it, I step on feet all the time.
  • Depends on my read on their intent and their ability to escalate the harm level. Mistakes are easier to overlook than attacks. Attacks from real threats are easier to run from than attacks from pansies.
  • I have found both figuratively and literally when someone steps on your toes they usually did not do so intentionally. Giving them the benefit of the doubt is a good thing. You say "ouch!", they get off your toes, they say "excuse me", you say "no problem". All done.
  • are you using the phrase stepping on toes as a figure of speech? if so then a little discussion about your concerns would be the first move if that doesnt work then a light verbal warning and if still not then a full blown verbal attack but never use foul language it cheapens the attack and alway remain calm, confindent and never back down and dont shout and scream. you will get more respect and they will listen more. But if meant they actually litterally just stepped on your toes by mistake i am sure it could not have been that sore so just say no problem and a little smile because i am sure they feel a little bad already so always smile and say its ok :)
