This is Wall Streets idea! They want to be able to continue benefiting from the profits without being exposed to any of the risk or losses! They want privatized profits with socialized losses paid for by the taxpayers! There is no proof this will help the economy one bit!

It will not stimulate the economy. May actually do the reverse. It DOES cowtow to virtually every liberal agenda in existence though. Rubber-stamp for govt-run healthcare that will be paid for by the middle class. What few state-generated temporary jobs may even go to illegal aliens.

Too Much Pork Oink Oink!!! If the Banks, insurance co. or whoever, are going to fail let them. Smaller companies will get the chance to grow. Thats the way it is supposed to work.

I'm so confused. A lot of what is being described as "pork" will actually create jobs in those cities and states. Anything that creates jobs is not pork in my opinion. We in California are in desperate straits..we are not alone. So if there is a bundle of money available to us to create jobs why the furor? Happy Friday! :)
