  • There is always hope. -Always Hope p.s.- I lost one of my eyes and a leg when I was 12. I still get the impression of light sometimes even though I have no eyeball at all. In my case I think that it is neurological, as if the brain is trying to fill in sensory input where there really is none, just like the phantom sensations I get from my missing leg. Sometimes I am convinced that I "see" images with it that are appropriate to the circumstances. For example, when I know a car is about to pass me on the left I sometimes "see" it with my nonexistent eye. I "see" a car, usually a generic blue one, but it has nothing to do wht the actual appearance of the car that is passing me. I of course have no idea why he sees what he sees and what it means- only an opthalmologist could tell you.
