I used to love to eat Jays Hot Stuff potato chips dipped in orange sherbert. I convinced my husband to try them. He thought they were great munchie food. I do not eat this anymore as it is not on my list of healthy foods. D: But yeah, people thought it sounded really icky.

My parents were very frugal and forbade us to "play" with food. We weren't even allowed to use noodles to make pictures or bracelets, or beans to fill bean bag toys. However, we were allowed to make any edible thing we wanted out of food, and I loved to experiment. My ideas were usually limited to making purple oatmeal with food coloring, or putting fruit faces on everything.

No. That's exactly the reason my mother didn't want me in the kitchen. Now at almost 57, I have to learn to cook for myself - and some of the stuff I mad had been somewhat horrible.

No, but my father did! When I was in the first grade...almost 50 years ago...for some reason my dad, one day, made our lunches. He made us peanut butter and mayonaise sandwiches. The old steam heated building got to me and my sandwiches...and my new found stomach disorder. I blew chunks all over my 7 year old girlfriend sitting in front of me. Anyway, I got to go home early that day and Karen forgave me.
