It depends. In many card games, Aces can be valued as 1 or 11. If you value the aces as 11, then the answer is 12. --4 x Dueces --4 x 3s --4 x 4s If you treat the aces as 1, then you add the 4 aces to the list and the number is 16. P.S. One poker variant I've played is called 7-27. In that game, all of the face cards (Jack, Queen, King) are treated as 1/2. That would add another 12 cards to the answer.
