  • I would be fine knowing we had the same views
  • Glad that they're rational and informed.
  • I wouldn't care either way. I'm gay and don't want children. I also would like to see more children adopted anyhow.
  • Glad that we're on the same page. Though I certainly wouldn't demand that we think alike on it.
  • If this is a deal-breaker in the relationship, then get over it and move on. Allow the person to make up their own minds on this issue. Frankly, I am pro choice but always hope that choice is to bring that new life into the world, not destroy it.
  • I dont really think that anyone actually "supports abortion". You are either against abortion or pro-choice. I dont know anyone who is pro-abortion LOL. Anyone that wants abortion to be legal only wants to give women a choice. I'd be happy to find out that he also wants women to be able to have a choice.
  • Ummm, I could care less, it happens, if she doesnt want it then its her choice.
  • My s/o is her own person with her own mind and beliefs !
  • I think people need to stop getting polarized on issues and letting them destroy friendships and relationships. I am pro choice but I don't like abortion. My s/o's views would be hers to have, not mine to decide for her.
  • Whether they are pro-choice or anti-abortion doesn't matter as much as how they act toward you if you become pregnant. As in they have to be willing to talk with you, regardless if you have different views, to come up with a solution that you can both live with.
  • I wouldn't feel anything.
  • Since we have been married for 24 years and he had a vasectomy 20 years ago, I think its a mute point for us.
  • I wouldn't be affected. Abortion is something that, unfortunately, I believe has become a necessary evil. Humans are majorly overpopulated, and SOMETHING needs to be done about it... and a lot of people would prefer to stop a life from beginning than to take away a life that is already years in the making. Usually the environment and population work hand in hand. Think about deer in a forest. If the deer population grows beyond what the environment is able to handle, then the larger number of deer eat all of the grass, and then some starve and perish, and the population stabilizes itself. This problem IS there with people. There are homeless people, because there aren't enough houses for all of us... there are starving children, because there isn't enough food in their environment for all of them... The only answer to this problem, without ruining the world more than we already have, is to lower the population. Now, I wouldn't get an abortion. Shit, I'm waiting to see if I'm pregnant now, and I'm scared shitless because I have no idea how to raise a child. But, if I am pregnant, I will allow the baby to be born. Hypocritical, yes... but that's why it's a choice, not banned or mandatory. But I don't blame mothers who decide not to have their babies. It's not the most pleasant way of looking at things, but until people can have vasectomies and get their tubes tied/burned without some elaborate explanation, it's the only way to go about it.
