Population control?

Lets see: less of them and more of US? (elimination of enemies through natural attrition and birth control?) ~~ just an old soldier's take on it, LOL!

It doesn't. The Mexico City Policy has nothing to do with the US funding/not funding abortions. It has to do with a free flow of valid information. Under the Mexico City Policy, any organization that discussed abortion in any way, shape or form was cut off from US funding. The US never funded abortions overseas... And as it stands now, it is not funding abortions. But now information is available.

Do we fund foreign abortions? I never heard that. I have read the stimulus package on abortion but it is not to be applied abroad but in the United States. The presidents idea is to avoid unwanted pregnancies, children left behind in hospitals and orphanages and many teen mothers who give their children away or sell them. Those issues are his targets.

We don't. The Executive Order at issue was one that prevented US funding from going to any organization (even if the funding would be used for birth control, disease testing, disease treatment, or disease education) that discussed abortion as an option. If the organization mentioned abortion as an option for family planning at all, the US would not provide funding for ANY activity done by that organization. There is a difference. I might also add that overpopulation on this planet is a huge problem, and uncontrolled birth rates one of the main contributors to poverty. We are talking about populations of people who cannot feed, clothe, house, educate, and find jobs for the people who already exist.
