Does "Flesh-Eating Bacteria" scare you? Did you hear about the Brazilian model who died within a couple weeks after what was thought to be a simple UTI?

God, this is one of the most horrible stories I've ever read! This beautiful 20 year old has a minor infection and within days they're cutting off her hands and feet, cutting out her kidneys, and they can't cut off pieces fast enough to save her life.

I read about that today. Very sad story - I really feel for her family. I do think, though, that it was a freak occurrence.

No it doesn't, I stand a greater chance of being killed a zillion other ways than being eaten by some bacteria!
