Just like everything else, public opinion (and stereotype) is greatly influenced by how a particular "group" is portrayed by the media. With the likes of BRITTANY SPEARS, PARIS HILTON, JESSICA SIMPSON, etc.,--it's no wonder the "dumb-blonde" stereotype can not be put to rest!!!

Sure the blonde male is stereotyped. He is the purehearted hero of movies and stories. And just in case anyone miss it, he usually have a white hat.

If anyone treats you badly because of your hair, they're as ignorant as anyone who treats people badly based on their skin colour. I find it interesting how prejudice and bigotry against blondes is acceptable. It's all about complete ignorance and insensitivity. Just look at the reply about how it's really blonde men who are stupid. People like that probably try to make up for their own insecurities by insulting and degrading others.
