Help answer this question below.
I had a Fiat that did the same thing, i started using the spare key and that worked better for about six months. The tumblers got worn down from the key moving against them. I suppose that a locksmith could cut a new key that will fit or maybe replace the tumblers. I went to the Fiat dealer and bought a whole new lock assembly and put in.
Try pushing the key in while turning it back. That's how it is in my '87 Integra. If that doesn't work then the assembly or key is probably worn down which is not all that uncommon.
in some cars if u turn the key to far back they lock
Try some graphite, instead of WD-40.
If your Integra is an automatic (like mine) you may have to wait for the P on the parking indicator to light up first! Sounds crazy but the safety switch inside the ignition still thinks the car is in gear before the P lights up as you go into PARK, this problem drove me crazy for a while until I figured it out. WD-40 has nothing to do with this particular problem with the automatic, never had a problem since figuring this out;)

My 1992 Acura Integra is having a problem with the key in the ignition. I can slide the key into the ignition and start the car with no trouble, but when turning the engine off, the key frequently won’t come out easily, even after using WD-40.

I have the same car and problem, but only when it is cold. Make sure the P (park indicator is lit, if not, keep pushing forward on the shifter until it does, then try to remove the key. I also found that pushing up on the steering wheel with my knee sometimes helps (got me on that one!).
