  • Yes.....it does. My daughter-in law did with 2 of my grandbabies and had the nerve to tell me her doctor told her it was more stress on her and the baby if she quit. Can you believe that? Both the babies were born and had problems with drinking their milk and swallowing. They said it was acid-reflux....BS....I was so upset with her. Her mom and dad never knew she was smoking while pregnant. Talk about stupid. She works in a hospital.....talk about retarded!!
  • Yes, its a shame.
  • I feel sorry 4 the baby!
  • Yes, I do. Her action will affect her and her yet to be born child. Anyway I am most unhappy with people smoking. I lost a good friend on 1st January 2009. He died of lung cancer which was due mainly to his smoking.
  • Only if it was my g/f or wife.
  • It infuriates me!!! I usually try to look at the other side for balance. But in this case there is no excuse for smoking (or drinking) while pregnant. To be pregnant is such a blessing and to see it not be treated as such is heart breaking.
  • more of a sad feeling
  • It doesn't make me feel good but then I feel a lot more angry about the self righteous who feel it's either their duty to stop others from smoking, or to judge them for doing so. Especially when those same people will no doubt climb into a pollution spewing SUV without giving it a second thought. Maybe we should ban pregnant women from being anywhere near cars too and they can all walk to work? I'll leave it to Billy Connolly to express what he express' so well about the small minded, pompous smoke Nazis:
  • OMG! I literally just saw this today at the freakin' hospital. No joke! I went to pick up my friend from the hospital where he works. A car pulled into the rainbow drive right next to me. Out popped a pregnant woman, in labor, with a lit cigarette hanging from her face. Honestly, I was disappointed in humanity at that moment.
