There are no laws against friendship and spending time together. There are only laws that protect girls and young women from older men who want to have sex with them.

It is dangerous because if the law finds out even parental concent the 22 yr old could go to jail. Sex does not have to be proven in most cases, it is assumed. These laws should be changed. With parental consent the law should have no jurisdiction. True these laws are in place to protect nieve childern but by in large they make criminals out of otherwise innocent people. The only way these laws will be changed is when parents and teens keep after those making the laws to change them. Age difference laws should be removed as well. young teens are not as nieve and dumb as law makers want to believe.
