I was commuting to my job in lower Manhattan and was stuck in the in IRT Lexington Avenue subway train that stopped between Fulton Street and Wall Street when the Twin Towers were first struck.

Where 3 blocks from it,doingwhat watching it unfold. NY never looked so confused than on that day. and walking over the bridge @10:30 in the morning wasn't fun either. From the bridge you could see the smoke going up after the buidings went down,most of the people had white powder on them(which was Asbestos),and then had to walk 26 miles back home. Fox700

I was asleep, did the late shift the night before. Woke up when my aunt called yelling - open the tv. I was stunned. And I will remember that day. I rushed to work (because I work in the hotel industry) you see all flights were canceled in and out of the US. Everything was on stand still. The next couple of days were very long.
