Do you have to find another job other than what you normally do for a job just to survive?

I do work a second job part time. My primary job provides enough to survive, the other one is just for extra money to save and for play money. Mostly its to keep busy so that I haven't all this excess time which tends to lead to excess spending.

Yes,I've been a dental technician for 23 yrs.(make crowns) the co. outsourced the work to China.Now I'm just trying to get anything since there are'nt any labs in my area.
