I first ask myself what if I do not do anything. If I see no or little harm or good of no action as opposed to the wrong choice of an action; then I proceed to do nothing. If action is required because inaction in not viable I would than gather what infomation I could concerning the good and bad in regard to my options and make a timely choice. There are very few 100%, for sure choices in my life - there really are not that many that are that tough of a choice.
