I think it depends on the situation. Like I've been just trying to be me and make myself better. Hopefully he'll stay by my side while I do it.

If you have to change who you are to fit a relationship then it really isnt love. Part of love is to be attracted to the other person for their character and perspectives. If you want them to change then you are more in love with the idea of being in love, rather then being in love with that person.
