Yes, and I hated it. I was a bad procrastinator in school, and I always begrudgingly did my homework on Sunday evenings. It was a shortcoming for me.

i got homework everyday, INCLUDING fridays. no days were excluded - minimum one hour per subject per night. i can honestly say it prepared me for life.

Yep, and high school was notorious for that, luckily I went to an alt. high school my last two years so it was all classwork.

Yes. I was least likely to get homework on Wednesday's in elementary school because that's because of a lot of students had religion class. And I even went to a public school. Hey, why complain, less homework.
