Yes. My ex-wife. I would often tease her about her "Excruciatingly Good Taste" (a play on the following book title) http://www.amazon.com/Manners-Excruciatingly-Correct-Behavior-Freshly/dp/0393058743/ Her taste meant that she would gravitate to the most expensive version of any given item (jewelry, furniture, rugs, etc.) To be fair, she was aware of her expensive taste and did not adopt an "I deserve it" attitude. But is was often funny to watch her pick something out and then look at the price...:-D... . .
