  • I buy the drycleaning sheets and use those. Unless there is a stain on the clothing they work great.
  • I do. I truly don't understand why ppl use them all the time. The only time I"ve ever used one is when I borrowed a friend's suede skirt for a wedding. And I always ignore "dry clean only" and figure out a way to do it myself at home whatever the item may be.
  • It's a rip-off unless your garment is very sensitive and expensive. Otherwise I wash all my clothes that have a 'dry clean only' label on the gentlest cycle and they clean just fine. I did the math on dry cleaning costs and realised I could buy a new suit with saving just 8 trips to the cleaners.
  • Oh yes indeed they are. Just came back from the cleaners 2 hours ago. I stupidly marked a new silk dress right on the front. "At your own risk" they sai. Well I had just pain £180 for it so thought it had to be tried. The stain wsa exactly and I mean exactly as it was before. Stupid me didn;t realise that there is no individual attention just "one spray fits all"!! But that was not all .... oh no the dress next to mine melted!!! Yeah you heard me melted all over my new dress. Outside their control I was told!!
  • Yup, if it is done frequently. I wouldn't use a dry cleaner as standard because of the price. The only things I take in are my coats. At £7 every now and again it isn't so bad... cheaper than a cocktail in a London club. Febreeze will do the trick in between!
