Well that's why people can flag them, because they can find the right category. For example, this one should have gone under 'Answerbag'. If you look around enough, you generally will find an appropriate category for a question. It just takes a bit of time and effort.

It is important to categorise questions so there is some sort of order (rather than mad chaos). If someone posts something about relationships under "Answerbag", people who browse the "relationships" category won't be able to find your question. By allowing users to flag questions that are placed in the wrong place, AB can stay organised. I don't see anything "cruel" with this. Give it a shot, but don't worry if you have trouble finding the correct category, someone will move it for you.

I don't see it is "cruel" to flag something as being in the wrong place if it genuinely is in the wrong place. The idea that no-one can ever be informed that they have a mistake seems to me to lead to people spending their lives doing the wrong thing. It is not a punishment, it is simply a statement of fact.

What is cruel about flagging for wrong category.I seriously think that you are oversensitive.
-
Thats not cruel at all. I suppose it were really an issue , you could email the staff, and tell them your problem with the new category. The reason for categories is to keep this place organized...
-
Its not cruel for it is making the question better know for it is now in the right category.
