It would work in your pc, but your xbox won't work anymore. (I wonder why?)

The cd-rom woud not work because it uses a diffrent power cable to connect to the motherboard (it dose not have the standard 4 pin 12/5 volt connecter). It would be better for you to just buy a new hdd, the xbox hdd is not verry big, it might work though. If you mean connecting the two motherboards, DON'T DO IT! You'll probably kill them boulth. There are better ways to destroy an xbox and a computer. If you must please tell us what happens! :)

The hard drive will work in your computer, only after you format it to NTFS or FAT (Depending on your operating system) As far as I know, XBOX Hard Drives are SATA. So if your computer is older and uses IDE cables you would have to buy a SATA to IDE converter. About $16.00 at some places.
