I'm never gonna grow old!

Mostly I didn't think about getting old. As a child, older people belonged to a different country, my country was people my age. When I became an adult, older people were still, well, older and not my contemporaries. As I got older and came to realize I would get older again and again I have come to realize that where you are in your life is right where you are supposed to be. Each age, each time of life has its own compensations, its own pains and its own pleasures. I didn't "fear" getting old because I couldn't relate to it as a child. Now I look forward to continued new experiences.

I didn't fear anything but I wasn't very eager for it to happen either.

Having to take responsibility for my own actions without mum and dad being there!!! But it worked out ok. ;)

Not so much a child but as a teenager. I did not want to be one of those older women sitting at the bar looking for a man at the club. They are soo sad. Or me being the old lady with the cats. Either way it involves me being alone for the rest of my life. There is nothing worse then a bitter old women.
