I'm close enough to that magic number (58) to tell you what it is like for me. My hair grows quickly. In order for me to retain some attractive coloration, I have to color my hair. I have the roots touched up every 8 weeks, and then I get the entire thing done with foils, very pale in color. The pale color allows me a little space between touch ups. It also adds a bit of change from what can look like monotone coloring that comes from dying hair one color. It sucks coloring my hair, but it sucks more looking washed out.

Unfortunately no. I don't know anyone over even 40 that hasn't got at least a bit of grey showing unless they've dyed it.

Yes, I am over 60, and still have most of my hair. It is dark brown and I do not have any gray hair. I have never colored it with anything.

I've seen some blond haired people who looked like they had no grey.
